Welcome to Divination and Fortune Telling! My name is Lisa ‘Cloudy’ Boswell Hendry (you can call me Cloudy!) and I am the founder and owner of this website.
I launched this site in 2017, and since then, it has built a reputation for providing accurate Tarot and Lenormand card interpretations. This site is my pride and joy, and I’m excited to share it with you.
My journey with divination began much earlier, as I was born into a family of fortune tellers. My family nurtured and encouraged my psychic abilities from a young age.
One of my earliest memories is sitting with my mum, watching a documentary about miracles. One story featured a woman who avoided a car accident with the help of her guardian angel. I asked my mum, “What’s a guardian angel?” She replied, “It’s an angel that’s always with you, protecting you from harm.” In that moment, I vividly remember feeling a deep sense of knowing—I recognised that my guardian angel had always been by my side.
My older sister was a Tarot reader, and I used to sneak her tarot deck whenever I could. From the age of seven, I was completely fascinated by Tarot. Eventually, my mom bought me my own deck, and I began doing readings for others. I never really thought about what I wanted to be when I grew up; I just assumed everything would naturally fall into place. I had always been drawn to the spirit realm.
However, as I entered my teenage years, while I continued doing readings, my behaviour started to take a negative turn. At the age of 15, I gave birth to my daughter.
After I had my daughter, I became determined to make something of myself. I went back to school, attended community college, and worked hard to improve my situation. Unfortunately, when I finished, the economy was struggling, and finding a job was difficult. For four years, as a single parent, I struggled to find work. One day, feeling lost and frustrated, I asked for a sign—something to show me what direction I should take.
The very next day, I went to the library, and through a strange series of events, I came across a book called An Angel Called My Name by Teresa Chung. The book deeply inspired me, and I decided to set up shop first as a professional psychic and eventually as a full-time spiritual teacher. The day after that, I went to the job center and told them I wouldn’t be back.
The rest is history.
In my career, I've had the honour of winning the Young Tarosophist of the Year award. I've been featured in books, magazines, and publications around the world. In 2021, I secured a book deal with Hachette UK and published my first book, The Modern Oracle. It became an Amazon bestseller and was named Book of the Month by Spirit and Destiny magazine.
A lot has changed in my career over the past few years, but one thing that has remained constant is my dedication to providing the best spiritual development education for my students.
In 2022, I started dating my husband, Alfie, and we got married just six months later. Interestingly, Alfie’s birthday is on 11/11, a significant angel number. Around the time we began dating, my work shifted more toward the angelic realm, and now my primary focus is teaching people how to connect with and listen to their guardian angels. I guide people through Tarot, Lenormand, and interpreting angelic signs.
