Future Tarot Meanings - Seven of Swords

The Seven of Swords is the card of acquittal. When you have received this card, you can be guaranteed that someone in your life, maybe even you, have been up to no good. The Seven of Swords predicts that someone will spend their time planning drama or conflict.

There are people who are have surrounded yourself with who are not being loyal. You may think that they are your friends, but they are willing to throw you under the bus the first chance they get. They want what you have and are going to hurt your feelings in order to get it.

Sometimes, the Seven of Swords can symbolize you getting the blame for something which you did not do. Others may be more than willing to sell you out because they do not want outsiders to see their own flaws and insecurities. Therefore, you will become the scapegoat.

There will be times when the Seven of Swords represents your own deception. You may be attempting to get away with doing something which you know you should not be doing. Perhaps, you will be engrossed in an affair, a scandal or even partake in breaking the law.

There is also the possibility that you’re trying to fool yourself. You will probably be aware of your own unhappiness in a situation but try to convince yourself everything is fine. Are you trying to stick it out in a loveless relationships? Have you went into a particular career field for the wrong reasons? If the answer is yes to any of these questions then the results of your self-deception will begin to affect you emotionally.

If the Seven of Swords lands in an outcome or future position of a Tarot reading, it means that the situation you are reading on will end in betrayal. Alternatively, it can mean that something will end, not for any fault of your own, but because of the interference of other people.

Like most Tarot cards, the Seven of Swords has a silver lining. If it appears as a positive, it means that, while your intentions may not be pure, that doesn’t mean that you will not get what you want. If you’re the one attempting to deceive others, you will get away with it.

Seven of Swords Love Tarot Meaning

I often see the Seven of Swords in love readings where the individual has rose tinted glasses on; you’re blinded to the truth of your relationship. There is a deliberate attempt to overlook your partner’s flaws and all can come crashing down in the future.

Another possibility, is that you will be unfaithful to your partner. If you already have, the Seven of Swords is a sign that you will be able to cover up your infidelity for the foreseeable future.

Seven of Swords Feelings Tarot Meaning

If you’re wondering what a partner (or potential partner’s) feelings are the Seven of Swords means they do not have loving intentions.

Sadly, there is also a possibility that they are secretly pinning for someone else. They may just be using you as a second option or as something to do.

Seven of Swords Future Tarot Meaning

When the Seven of Swords appears in the outcome or future position of a love Tarot spread, this means that you will one day get a wake up call. One day you will realize that your partner is not all they appear to be.

Although your relationship will not end well, you can take comfort in the fact that you will be the one who calls it quit on the romance. It will be over when you say it is over, and this will not happen before you’re ready. You will get the last say.

Seven of Swords Business & Career Tarot Meaning

In a business reading, the Seven of Swords can mean that your business is unethical in some way. It is possible that you do not have your clients/customers best interests at heart. However, I usually read the Seven of Swords in a business Tarot reading as symbolizing the fact that you are not honest with yourself.

Perhaps you have built a business around something which you are not really passionate about or your passion has changed overtime. And, if you don’t feel this way now but The Seven of Swords has landed in a future or outcome position, this is a sign that you will change focus in the future. Be honest with yourself and build your career around what you want not what you think you should be providing.

Seven of Swords Yes or No Tarot Meaning

General - For most types of readings the Seven of Swords is a no. However, if you are wondering whether or not your lover has been unfaithful or if they have another lover, then the Seven of Swords is a yes.

Do they like me? - In most cases the Seven of Swords is not a positive sign and usually indicates that your partner (or potential lover) does not like you. However, if your relationship could be classed as morally wrong or seedy in some way then the answer is yes they do like you.

Am I pregnant? - Like the Five of Swords, the Seven of Swords predicts that your body is tricking you and you are not pregnant.

Is this relationship going to last? - There is a possibility it will, but be prepared for infidelity to be a theme in your relationship. However, there are better cards to indicate that your partnership will last so I am inclined to say that the Seven of Swords represents a no.

Does the future of this look promising? - No, the future of this matter does not look promising.

Am I going to reconcile with my ex? - If you separated with your ex because of something you did then a reconciliation is possible. However, if you were not in the wrong, then it does not seem likely that your ex will return for a notable length of time.

Seven of Swords as a Positive, Strength or Advantage

In a positive reading, the Seven of Swords can predict that you will get the things you what despite the fact that you have bad motives. Although you will resort to dishonest tactics, you will come out victorious.

For some types of readings, the Seven of Swords can symbolize confidence. Even if you do not have reason to be you will be very self-assured in the future. Because you have/will have belief in yourself you will be more likely to achieve the things you want.

Seven of Swords as a Negative, Weakness or Blockage

In a more negative reading, the Seven of Swords can predict that someone will betray you. Although you may suspect that you have been lied to, in most cases you will not be able to prove it for a fact.

Also, if the Seven of Swords appears in a Tarot spread as a negative, weakness or blockage, this can also indicate that you are dishonest with others and with yourself. If you cannot be truthful, at least be realistic.
