Future Tarot Meanings: Queen of Cups

When it appears in a Tarot reading, the Queen of Cups symbolizes a loyal female with strong intuition. The Queen of Cups is sympathetic towards those she loves. This individual may appear as you or another woman in your life, such as a sister or mother.

In some Tarot card decks, the Queen of Cups is called the Mother of Cups or Chalices. However, the Tarot card meaning of the Mother of Cups/Chalices and the Queen of Cups is the same.

Those she loves is the Queen of Cup’s priority. She always considers other individuals and puts others above herself. No matter what they did or didn’t do, the Queen of Cups sees their side and gives them nothing but compassion and empathy. The Queen of Cups can represent a supportive relative in some types of Tarot readings.

Sometimes, the Queen of Cups can appear in a Tarot reading when you need to be more like the Queen of Cups. It can mean that you’re not looking at other people’s side and selfishly focusing on your wants and needs. Ask yourself, “How can I be more understanding when it comes to the feelings of others?”

A more negative trait of the Queen of Cups is that she can be willing to overlook things. Even if someone she loves is in the wrong, she is still willing to advocate for them. Individuals close to her can also easily hurt her feelings, especially if they are not as loyal and warm as she is.

Finally, I have found that it is very common for the Queen of Cups to appear in a Tarot spread as a reminder that your intentions are always in the right place, even if they land you in hot water. You may not always get the results you want, but you can sleep well at night, knowing that you strive to do the right thing and not hurt anyone.

The Queen of Cups Love Tarot Meaning

In a love Tarot reading, the Queen of Cups serves as a reminder that your heart is always in the right place when it comes to your partner. You put all that you can into the relationship and do the best you can.

If a relationship Tarot reading looks negative or the question is of a depressing nature, then the Queen of Cups can serve as a reminder that being a good partner yourself does not make your other half a good partner. You cannot love someone into treating you well. The Queen of Cups is telling you that you can do better than the person you are with.

In a reading, which does not look positive, the Queen of Cups is a positive sign if you want your relationship to progress to the next level. Often, the Queen and King of Cups represent a married couple, so this could be you in the future. The King of Cups represents a loving man, so having both of these cards in your reading is very good for love.

The Queen of Cups Feelings Tarot Meaning

The Queen of Cups can represent two types of feelings in a Tarot reading. On the one hand, she can mean that your lover is very loyal and loving towards you. In fact, they put you on a pedestal.

Your partner/potential partner looks past any negativity or drama you bring to the relationship. Your lover is very naive this way. Your lover loves you so much that you cannot do any wrong in their eyes - they feel love for you at all costs.

In other types of readings, the Queen of Cups can indicate that your lover feels as though you are the Queen of Cups - they view you as a very loyal, loving person.

The Queen of Cups Future Tarot Meaning

If the Queen of Cups appears in the outcome position of a Tarot spread, this can mean that you will meet a female with her qualities in the future who will assist you in some way. Sometimes, the Queen of Cups in the future can mean that the destiny of a situation is in the Queen’s hands.

Alternatively, the Queen of Cups will land in the future position of a Tarot spread to represent you in the future. If you are not happy in your relationship now and do not feel very loving towards your partner, the Queen of Cups will pop up in the future to represent the fact that you will become more sympathetic towards your partner or find someone new.

The Queen of Cups Business & Career Tarot Meaning

In a career Tarot reading, the Queen of Cups can mean that customer support is (or should be) your priority. It is time to listen to what your customers truly want, not just what you feel like providing. You may be looking past the obvious because you only want to give the products and services which you think they need.

The Queen of Cups has a reputation for going deep with others. People whom she doesn’t even know will open up to her about their life. This card in a business spread can mean that you have to put a more personal face on your company and let people see the person behind the operation.

The Queen of Cups Yes or No Tarot Meaning

General - The Queen of Cups is a neutral card meaning neither yes or no - it depends on the question being asked.

Do they like me? - Yes, the Queen of Cups indicates that this person really likes you.

Am I pregnant? - I would only read the Queen of Cups as positive for pregnancy if you really want a baby, but other Tarot readers would disagree.

Is this relationship going to last? - This relationship is going to last for the foreseeable future.

Does the future of this look promising? - Yes, the future of this matter looks somewhat promising, but that does not mean that it will turn out exactly how you expect.

Am I going to reconcile with my ex? - If you are reading Tarot about a female lover, the Queen of Cups is a sign that yes, your ex is going to come back. However, if you are reading about a male lover, I am more inclined to say that the Queen of Cups is neutral on whether or not they are going to return.

The Queen of Cups as a Negative, Weakness or Obstacle

When the Queen of Cups appears in a negative, weakness, or obstacle Tarot spread position, this means that you often overlook the obvious in the name of love. You can be very naive, and may even display some stupidity. When someone you love has done something hurtful, you would rather not know the truth.

The Queen of Cups can also appear as a weakness if you have a tendency to become a little obsessed over loved ones. You can fall in love with people before you truly know them. If this sounds like you, the Queen of Cups in your Tarot reading is a sign that you should put the focus back on yourself. Fall in love with you, be happy in your own company, and other people will do the same.

The Queen of Cups as a Positive, Strength or Advantage

When the Queen of Cups appears in a positive, strength or advantage Tarot spread position, this means that you are a very loyal person. You do not give up on the people you love, and you will stand by them at all costs. You always have other people’s best interests at heart and try very hard to be a good person.

In some Tarot readings, the Queen of Cups can appear as a strength or advantage if you have strong psychic ability. Just as you would if you pulled The High Priestess or The Moon, the Queen of Cups means that you will use your intuitive abilities to guide you.
